This project explores the differences between the expected years of schooling and the mean years of schooling based on gender from a 2013 United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) education report. In the visualization above, orange represents female years of schooling and purple represents male years of schooling. The interactive tools above allow you to explore the data by displaying the differences in years of schooling (mean and expected) based on gender. The README file provides variable definitions and further explanation of this project. Using your cursor, you can roll over the desplayed squares/rectangles to provide text that analyzes the differences for each country.
